My best guess is Andrea is another one of these early-or-preseason sloppy subtropical systems in the mid-atlantic.

Salute!

I gotta go with the Stew..... weak thing out east of the Antilles and then destroyed by a late spring cold front.

Gums sends...

P.S. Favorite storm was Opal in 1995, but the `1947 storm whose eye came over the house in New Orleans ranks up there.... I was just old enough to see the ground heaving around the large oak tree out front, but dats all I recall. Opal was a case of not getting outta Dodge early, and had to stay when it hit just west of us with decent high Cat 2 steady, but Cat 3 at some places and trees blowing down everywhere.
