What do you use? Want a Davis vue but I have a small backyard. So, all that precision going to waste on imprecise wind makes me hesitate. It’s about 26 here in NW Frisco. Had frozen drizzle hitting my face earlier.

This is the exact weather station that I have.

They also have quite a bit of others. Every now and then Costco sells it for much cheaper.

Thank you for the info! I hint strongly what I want for bday/xmas by providing links but I always get the basic stuff as a gift. I mean, I’m not complaining but hey, I’m a weenie at heart.

Thankfully whatever "might be" brewing is 360 hours out and will likely change at that range. In the meantime, look at that nice warm up in store next week which we can be sure of despite the specifics with temps.

Geez, down to 23. Brr. Temps have plunged more. If we had a bit more precip, it would be a skating rink. I still see some slick patches. But no schools have canceled so far.

At this point I’m over it. Been dry slotted multiple times now plus I got the warm nose from hell and been sick multiple times. Ready for warmth and an end to whatever this winter was.

Yeah I'm with you. I enjoy cold around the holidays. After that, if we don't have a snow threat with it, I'm ready for Spring.

The snow pings are coming collective across the area. Keep an eye for flurries!

I'm in Coppell until 11 or so, due south of Lake Ray Robers and Lewisville Lake. Holding out for some lake effect while I am up here. I did manage about and inch of lake effect last year in Grand Prairie being that far south from the northern lakes.

Don't know if it's hitting the ground but on NWS radar the snow depiction is slowly creeping our way.

Down here in San Antonio, the Stock Show and Rodeo is ongoing, and it never fails that during this event we always seem to get some sort of cold snap. To kick the rodeo off, we have an event called the "Cowboy Breakfast" (free to the public but outside in the early morning hours) and often it would be cold for that event as well which would of course test the public in how bad they really wanted free breakfast tacos and a coffee. Lol

Very light snow here in N Dallas. So light that you have to step outside and look at a street light or use a flashlight to see the flakes blow past.

Sleeting down there? I’m getting very weak freezing rain/drizzle up here.

Summer's for hibernation, Winter’s my vacation

Don't use my posts as forecast, I'm a complete meteorology noob! I just like cold weather, alright?

All observations I post are for Temple, Texas unless otherwise stated.

Think it will be flurries to light snow. What Im curious is after, from similar to radar up in WF and Abilene currently. The better dynamics with the area lakes will be at that point, but again it's such microscale is not a guarantee.
