Max. FL winds = 111 kt -> 100 kt at the surface

Interesting that it looks like the strongest FL winds are on the south side of the circulation when the north side looks much better on radar.

I was outside trying to get one of my dogs to poop for what’s probably my last chance of the night and a transformer or something nearby propped and HOLY GEEZ did it scare the crap out of me and my dog!

I saw the lights go out in the front of the neighborhood, but fortunately I’ve still got mine… for now at least.

Salute!

Dunno about your radar, but my wunderground for Sarasota shows the eyewall within 10 or 20 miles of the coast...so NHC will declare the center of the eye the landfall?

Gums sends..

per Ryan Hall Youtube's pro-met, correlation coefficient shows a lot on non-rain objects, he speculates birds, in the E eyewall.

To correct your statement Ryan Hall isn't a meteorologist, but I think he did get a degree in "broadcast" meteorology I think but that's a big difference. I googled him awhile back. His sidekick Andy is a meteorologist though.
