This whole struggle of Hurricane Francine reminds me of Hurricane Beryl, where when it seemed to be weakening, it maintained its strength and sometimes it even strengthened, as we saw it do in Jamaica and near the Yucatan peninsula. I also remember that some folks here that were afraid that fighting storms would become the big theme of 2024. Francine, despite all its ugliness, despite its flaws, despite the blows it took from the Wind Shear and dry air (and more!

), proved to be a very resilient hurricane. Let's see what will come later, in 15 - 20 days ahead.
