Looks like the center is taking aim at Freeport or just west of there.

If this links up with Beryl, she'll be drinking from the fire hose.

Seems like a gap too far to bridge no? I understand the outflow is racing that direction as well so it’s essentially half the distance it appears, but still..

Winds still lagging pressure, but the strongest winds are much closer to the center now than they were a few hours ago, so a core is definitely trying to build. Temperature in the eye/center is warming.

Looks like a burst again. Might just be a tease until later.

can the force of it wrapping its core around the back side drive it at all?

Recon is in the storm so they should be able to tell us which direction it’s currently heading. I’m looking at radar but it’s hard to tell.

Edit: found a better radar link and it still appears to be NNW. I think the eye is deceiving right now making it appear to be heading N or NNE but if you look at the whole store it still appears to be moving NNW.

Last update was that it’s moving NNW at 12mph.

(Edit - darn typo)

Last 2 recon fixes are basically due north, maybe slightly west of due north.
