That looks too far north and west for most of y’all on here. Needs to trend at least 50 miles SE.

Yeah, Wichita Falls has been right on the cusp but the trends are unfortunately pointing to little to no snow this far east. I'm at least rooting for Brent in Tulsa to get some substantial snow out of this though!

Idk. Even for Ice and Brent it could be too far NW. They might be on the edge of it.

I think you guys up there need to be rooting for the HRRR model. It by far looks the best for placement.

Yeah and I heard the HRRR nailed the storm in Kansas in November. So that's interesting. I wouldn't mind a small SE shift though otherwise because we do appear to be a bit on the edge vs OKC

Actually the NWS here has been favoring along and south of 44 and yet the models look better north. Wonder if they expect it to shift because the advisory doesn't even go north of the city here. Bartlesville has nothing and is buried on some of these runs

Kind of odd as all the models show a pretty hefty snowfall for the OKC area, but the local weather is saying 1-3". I could understand the local guys being hesitant 48 hrs or more out, but we're 20 hrs out....

Yeah they must be really banking on the warm ground melting a lot of it. I don't buy it it may not be everywhere but someone is gonna get buried in this setup. Like I could see a foot somewhere and a few miles down the road just a couple inches depending on the exact track

I think the heaviest will be down in Texas somewhere. Not sure exactly where though. I could see it trending more SE to where we get in on more of the action. OK doesn’t need it anyways.

What are you talking about? Oklahoma hasn’t had a decent snow all season. Even last year I don’t think they had anything.

Yup last time Tulsa saw more than 2 inches was February 2022. We're in a horrible snow drought when we average 9 inches a year

We’re Texans. We historically don’t like Oklahoma. It’s just crap talking based on that. Relax.

These maps should be looking at Kuchera for starters. Not a high ratio snow. (still jealous of someone regardless)

The TV station has a band up to 4 inches right over and just south of 44 here and mentions could be even higher. They aren't favoring north of here either

Looks like the models all seem to agree that it'll run the 44 corridor and into Lubbock and Plainview into Texas they show getting quite a bit then going NE up 44.
