I remember a true blue norther on Halloween around ‘93? It snowed/sleeted in Denton.

NBC 5 doesn’t have any highs below 60 in the 10 day, fwiw.

That was the year I witnessed rain mixed with sleet a day or two before Halloween in Highland Village. 30 years ago my goodness.

They are pretty conservative here too still.... Upper 40s is the coldest meh. I'm not ruling out a lot colder given the models usually struggle like I said before

I did notice a certain met in OKC was more bullish but we'll see  he mentioned the S word :spam:

Finally got some rain. Up to .25. The more we can get early the better in case something changes later, since it usually does.

Rangers in the World Series, cold weather on tap for next week and baseball in November in North Texas.......

And I'm off work for a week next week to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.

Life is good.

Looking like this Halloween's setting up to be either a chilly rain or a few mixed ice pellets. Both would be impressive for this time of year at least.

Summer's for hibernation, Winter’s my vacation

Don't use my posts as forecast, I'm a complete meteorology noob! I just like cold weather, alright?

All observations I post are for Temple, Texas unless otherwise stated.

Good luck. You all beat us soundly. Forever Astros (@astros), I am. Right now, Halloween looks really chilly.

This is the setup I was hoping for. Regular light/moderate rain so it soaks into the ground and doesn’t run straight off. I could do with a week of this. The biggest rain falling west of Tarrant doesn’t bother me either, because that’s our water supply.

Euro still looks good for DFW. GFS more meh. NAM his res shifting east which is good, though regular one still more west. HRRR looking good.

Fingers crossed.

Excited for change. Some Halloween chill will feel great.

Be afraid, be very afraid! Halloween looks like a wash-out and a cold-out here in Houston. I'd rather have 95F than that.
