Re: Texas Summer 2023
Just came back from Grapevine, it was fun, and it rained yesterday with a rainbow. One storm became severe south of Dallas and was pushing further south.

Re: Texas Summer 2023
Added a couple tenths to my weekend total yesterday evening. Then, I woke up today to the sound of rain. It's a nice soaking rain and I'm over a half inch so far today and counting.

I missed it, but at some point last night, a decent storm rolled through MBY, and we picked up almost an inch of rain.

Re: Texas Summer 2023
unfortunetly it was a dry Fri-Sun for most of Tarrant Co, had several outflow boundries come through but nothing came from them. Crazy watching what did bubble up just kinda meandered around with a slight east to west movement.
Hope we get some rain soon across Tarrant Co, the drought is starting to settle back in for these parts.

Baby heat ridge showing up for our annual run up to the solstice. Probably consistent 90s.
Some weak energy residing though, if you get lucky maybe a daytime shower like has been occurring. It was a non-MCS season type May to disappointment.

Agreed, would be really nice if we could get some northwest flow and mcs’s to ride down it as we push into the summer. Not seeing it now though

Re: Texas Summer 2023
Ended up with 0.74" with yesterday morning's soaker. Another round of storms made a beeline for Longview, then basically managed to circle my house. I did end up with another 0.16" from it, so I guess I shouldn't complain. Afternoon thunderstorm chances continue in the forecast.

This does not look good for Mid-June, how often do you see this for June?

This pattern is very interesting. I saw some similarities in the late spring of 1991 when looking into it. 210 hrs out for you. Alot of football left.

May was suspiciously quiet for tornadoes... I know June is going to make up for it.
And I am aware it is over a week out, but this has been consistent (and getting stronger) for at least 8 days.

Yeah moderate risk of excessive heat next week is NO BUENO. But these things have been wrong before. Though unfortunately it seems like they're only wrong on the outcomes that we want, like winter weather and rain. BOOO!
