Re: When will Bret form?
Voted July 1-10. I'm thinking it will be an early MDR TS kind of like a weaker version of Elsa 2021 or Beryl 2018

Re: When will Bret form?
Went with late June. I think it'll either be an open subtropical Atlantic fish storm or a weak MDR storm.

Unless explicitly stated, all information covered in my posts is based on my opinions and observations. Please refer to a professional meteorologist or an accredited weather research agency otherwise, especially if serious decisions must be made in the event of a potentially life-threatening tropical storm or hurricane.

Re: When will Bret form?
I voted September because there wasn't an October choice. Would be quite happy if no more storms formed all season.

Went with July 11-20. Weak, sloppy gulf storm

I am in no way a professional. Take what I say with a grain of salt as I could be totally wrong. Please refer to the NHC, NWS, or SPC for official information.

Re: When will Bret form?
I used the verified, scientific technique that states, if anything should start, it has to be before our wedding anniversary (11 July). I submit Claudette (2003) as a considerate and contemporaneous example. QED.

Re: Poll: When will Bret form?
Went with the end of June, short range CANSIPS shows a fairly hospitable MDR and Caribbean.

it's easier to have a 170 kt hurricane affecting the bahamas this year than seeing TS Bret happening only in october

....... furthermore I'd point out that the odds of "some" non-tropical gale partially transitioning over to even a severely tilted warm-core sheared mess, seem reasonably high. Put me down for a "June Bret" LOL.
