ECMWF deepens it as it moves away from the islands, although southeast flow from it will drench the state for the next few days.

The jet stream must have kinked with this system, they are talking about blizzard warnings in the mountains around LA, California from a system dropping south off Alaska.

It's a bit dry as of late. But a lot better than it was in between 2018-2020. These La Nina's have helped a lot in keeping rainfall near the islands.

Kingarabian, now are three that move thru CPAC. I guess the El Niño effect is kicking in for that basin.
