Yes it does...and really liking the look at the end of week 2 GEFS - cross Polar flow with PV reforming over Hudson Bay. Euro ENS similar.

This is a pretty spicy 5-day leading up to that. There will be plenty of cold air in WCAN to setup an eventful end to Feb & start to March.

Anyone else watch this guy? One of the brothers says he is really good and nailed our ice storm a week out. Of course, I can point to some who frequent this thread who also nailed the ice storm a week out.

He seems to be pretty accurate and not a hype train like most.

Oh yeah, he's really accurate imo. He did nail the ice storm. He doesn't sensationalize like a lot of them. He's matter-of-fact and doesn't sugar-coat either. I subscribed to him a few months ago when I heard about him from someone, I think on this forum(?). Anyway. He analyzes the patterns. I like him.

Safe to say that consensus is increasing for a Major Buildup of Siberian/Arctic air in our source region during the 10-14 day period. Too early to tell on if/when/how it will be delivered but really good sign for those looking for an entertaining Winter End Game!

I'm quite confident now that the worst of the winter weather is behind us here in Texas. Possibly another light freeze here in Houston late next week, but that's about it. I know we've had freezes well into March in the past, but I'm hopeful that March will bring a return to 70s and 80s across SE TX. March just sounds warmer than February.

Getting some little ice pellets with our rain today. Earlier sounding suggests it’s instability driven tiny hail but it looks and behaves exactly like sleet. Plus it’s 42 degrees!
