This is from a Typical La Nina pattern, this may age poorly.

I agree.

As much as I’d like to see December 83, it ain’t happening. That made Feb 2021 seem balmy.

Models are showing distorted and/or strat PV split next week. -AO into December looks likely. Climo forecasts won't age well.

That seems like a lazy forecast, given the way things are evolving in the Pacific.

That’s beautiful except that blob out in the Gulf needs to move 100 miles north.

It's snowing here. This is the THIRD time this month there's been snow nearby... :froze: :double:

I don't even remember flakes til January last year...

Yeah its gonna warmup after Saturday... but I'm betting there will be real winter fun on a wide scale at some point if this is any sign. I just hope it's before February this year. I hate waiting til then

It's been a nice change having a cold November to start the season. Not too cold but this November seems colder than years past and may end up below normal as a whole. Even Thanksgiving will be a little below normal with some moisture around with rain chances. I'll be in east Texas where it is always cooler by the lake than in the city. Can't wait to leave DFW for a few days. Smoking meats and drinking beer is always fun.

Yeah, I was confused reading their forecast predictions, given what's transpired so far. Seems like they should add more real-world data into the climo background state (La Nina) data(?). Weird. Glad to see everyone else on here's take on the odd CPC maps. I like the cool and wet!

Looks like the Euro just caved to the GFS for next weeks system. Only have the CMC on our side now.

That snowband in Tulsa is still dumping and there’a another one forming to the west. Major bust on Hi-Res models last night.

Getting the tiniest flurries outside of the NWC in Norman. They’re cute!

In Tecumseh, I'm getting larger flakes! Some of them are a big as Nickels.
