DFW was 4" below normal for the year going into today and is now over 3" for the day. Crazy to think that we will be about 1" short for the year after today!

Using Google Maps Traffic, it looks like the Powderly tornado was on the ground at least 18 miles from US82 north of Brookston. Look at 1510 a couple of miles to the northeast of Brookston, then 2820 and FM 79 west and north of Hopewell, FM 1499 two miles further northeast, and 906 north of Powderly. Reports of homes destroyed in Hopewell along with Powderly.

Some of the damage vids and photos popping up are indicative of large violent tornados. Just horrible to see. Hopefully, the front catches up to this mess soon and lines it all out.

Must be nice. Meanwhile another miss for SA today. Still below 10 inches for the year at the airport. Pretty unbelievable.
