Pretty good build-up of snow north of the border. I hope that this is a good sign of cold/snow for the upcoming winter.

Was doing a little research on global ice and snow cover. Contrary to what
some U.S. Government scientists have been saying from Goddard Space Flight
Center, global ice and snow cover was the most extensive in recorded history
in 2002-2003. Also ice and snow cover through the first week of November
2003 is well ahead of the same time last year.

The government even lies to us about the weather, what a shame.

This guy is a retired met. Is there any merit to what he says?
