Mississippi is going to be clobbered again, they were hammered with a Moderate Risk just last week, now comes this.

Storms are starting to develop in Kansas

This is the beginning of what could be the Late March 2022 Outbreak.

Getting some much needed rain here now. Heavier stuff just to the south but it's pretty much constant lightning and thunder. Solid way to close out March.

Some interesting wording....

Is this going to ramp up quickly then go linear of DFW?

I was under a Tornado Warning, my Grandmother woke me up, it cleared it my less than a mile, she said that the winds were very strange.

Yeah I'm guessing you probably had a funnel over you based on radar at that time. No CC drop so I don't think anything touched down.

Apparently I slept through it all. But, it’s more of a cluster than a line, which has helped increase rain totals. Good.

Woke up around 2:30 and listened to the rain for a bit before falling asleep again. Alarm went off and now another day begins. Wish I was still sleeping.

I don’t think a single warning was issued locally. But, glad it rained more than the .10 I expected.

I fell asleep at around 12:40 AM once everything was cleared out, but it was scary.

Also this is what my Grandmother said to me that the storm was "Filled with a LOT of Lightning & was was rumbling pretty good" It was just another ordinary Storm until "The winds really started to pick up & it was strange"That's when the Tornado Warning came out, & she woke me up.

My Rain Gauge said 1 inch, but it's possibly closer to 1.2-1.3 since the really heavy stuff was windblown from the Mesocyclone.

I got .42, but it looks like radar showed heavy totals over the airport. Multiple swaths got near an inch.

Woke up around 230am last night, checked the radar, looked unimpressive and went back to bed. Woke up at 3:45 when 3 simultaneous lightning strikes occurred within a mile or so of me, including one directly overhead. Sounded like the world was ending. The bow echo that ended up going directly over Dallas was pretty strong, surprised no warnings came of it and glad no tornado warnings did.

0.94" rain at DFW much needed.

It was a good line that came through but not severe with the gusts being not to criteria. DFW recorded higher gusts well before it yesterday 40-50mph!

Eastern trough should give up mid and late month and pattern heads toward April 2011 which means lookout big severe weather month lurking! Most tornado seasons since 2011 have been below average. This one I don't think so. Chasers get ready

I suspect we could even be included in the severe threat later this month since the pattern is more active for the state compared to 2011. Next week looks to feature yet another storm system for much of Texas.

Looks like 0.78" of rain in my gauge. Total of 2.9" for March. Not too bad.
