Nickel hail here in Arlington for a about a minute and it’s just begun to develop. Going to be some big hail for someone this evening.

Freezing over the weekend and near 80 today. Just about finished cutting my banana trees down to the ground. Got the 16 footer just now. It was over a foot in diameter. Had about 12" of rain last hour - that's 12 inches between raindrops.

Clouds are darkening all around me except over me. The forecasts though had the storms east and this is holding true.

Looks like pea to nickel size hail over Dallas but definitely a storm that is strengthening with time.

Will probably see a warning issued east of Dallas soon with a merger coming from the south.

Look out bubba. Storm missed us off to the south and we still got up to golf ball sized hail.

Clipped the front portion of the hail core as the center of it went just to my north. 2 quick bursts of penny size hail, but nothing crazy

None of the models had it all the way to Collin county and frisco McKinney. Pretty impressive development up there. My aunts car got dented

Man I hate hail. I’d rather it’d be 110 outside.

Got some surprise sprinkles and thunder. I take that as a win. Didn’t expect anything.

Yeah that's an ugly look. Unfortunately I think it's more likely to be right than wrong. All the signals are there for a horrible drought year for Texas in 2022.

Sadly a Typical La Nina setup, unless we get a +PNA, which favors a NW Trough & SE Ridge, and will allow storm systems to blow through here.

Gotten multiple rounds here with a couple of spurts of small hail. Looks like another solid hail core moving over Rockwall County.

About 0.08" of rain at the airport. Cool, dry air with northwest winds feels good outside behind the wind shift.

If we keep the NW flow throughout the spring and early summer, we will get a lot of chances of nighttime storms. Not going to hit the panic button yet. As bad as 11 and 12 were, locally 05-06 was worse.
