Maybe one of the closest calls you've experienced so far

I have a Lightning show to my South & SE

But there's more coming from the WSW, at least 3 of them.

All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted.

As a kid I was camping and a tornado passed right by us. It flooded our tent and we all crammed into the car. Being it was the early 90's, no cell phones......

Well folks I think we know now tonight (at least with a little more certainty) where this is now headed. New runs of the WRF-NSSL and ARW2.

In May 2015, a Tornado touched down less than 1 mile from my house, I was in the storm shelter with the Family, the tornado thankfully missed us to the East.

Btw, Supercell #2 is heading your way, it looks like it's going to be a direct hit.

Yup, and I have front row view. My backyard faces west and there's nothing really behind me.

Yup. Yesterday I told my wife who has a school field trip Thursday that we would likely see a pattern emerge on the cold by the time she went to bed tonight. Right on cue it seems the trend is a little colder which means potentially messier for DFW, and potentially no field trip. Interested if the 0Z Globals catch on.

So far this next storm is falling apart over me it seems. I think that first one took alot of energy out of the air up here......

Maybe I'm wrong, but I hope not.

But south of me looks interesting...... is that another hook?

Passing just north of Haslet. Certainly looks interesting on radar.

Tornado Warning in southern OK - Atoka Co. - radar indicated rotation near Stringtown.

The proof is in the pudding. Don't even get me started with the Globals on temp push.

Unlike the last one this front isn't going to be washed out as hard by moderation as the early month. It has a very strong gradient and height rises behind it. It's going to blast.

I’m thrilled that I’ve got water standing in the backyard! Big rain, pea sized hail and a lot of thunder and lightning.

And now it’s raining again and there’s more to the west! :D
