Possible Weak LLC Just NW of PR

#1 Postby wxman57 » Tue Nov 11, 2003 9:41 am

I can see clear evidence of a weak swirl up just NW of Puerto Rico. And just recently I can see a mid-level swirl south of the Virgin Islands. Still very disorganized. The chances of this becoming a TD within 24 hours look slim.

You could be right about the lack of a center. But it's been a wierd year for NHC. We've had some storms that some would argue were never storms in the 1st place lol

Agree WX57, there is what appears to be a developing LCC NW of PR heading west-northwest. Perhaps this is what JB was referring to, especially the part about "if it survives."

Looks like my ISP decided to restore my web page from backup a few minutes ago. They've been having problems for 2-3 days there. The image posted above is from last week.

Question of course is whether this system will develop and make a US landfall in November or if it will be a fish like I believe most models thought yesterday
