Do you recall the message in Arabic that was translated in one of the threads earlier this week? Something about "when the moon is split, and returns to whole"...

Isn't there supposed to be a lunar eclipse soon?

Yes Bill - TONIGHT. I thought that the "when the moon is split" had to do with the half-moon phase.

Uh oh.. Chilling information regarding these potential attacks against the US. Plus remember besides Tuesday being Veterans Day, Ms. Lynch's book comes out. Perhaps Iraqi's and Al Qaeda are still sickly mad about all the attention she's been getting.

I'll be watching the eclipse {if the clouds clear} but I may be flipping between the news channels too. This is kinda creepy now

I said this in the "Possible Attack Dates" - if we are attacked again, then I think that we may need to breakout our A-bomb.

A-bomb, but on who? We can't have innocent civilians getting punished for the actions that a minority of radicals do. The vast majority of arabs are peaceful people.

I know, but I think that we will have to send "a message" ourselves. We haven't found Saddam and Osama and we can't allow this to continue. I REALIZE what I'm saying here and the repercussions...this could be the "Armegedon" of Revelation.

I'm not trying to change the subject here, but does anyone know the time difference between the US East Coast and Saudi Arabia?

I was just going to say +8 hours [west to east] from EST.

I believe Saudi Arabia (at least a portion of the country) uses the sun to tell time.

I count eight also, but that map is updated through April 2003. We've already gone through daylight savings time. Would that affect this map?

The Iraqi's change their clock like we do here. I remember that somewhere in that part of the world (even in eastern Canada and other locations, too) have a "half hour" difference added on to the hour difference.

With that said, I believe Eastern Time in the United States is 8 1/2 hours behind Saudi Arabia. :)

Hey what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Those same innocent civilians could care less about lives lost here.

And also, there is panic being started here and also worry. If this is a joke please come out and tell us. Thanks.
