Fort Hood, Texas

I've been busy so haven't had the chance to be on here much during the week, but ever since Sunday's helicopter crash in Iraq, I've been thinking OMG. Texas is on the GOM, texas gets hit by hurricanes and tropical storms, so there's probably people from Texas on storm2k and then I thought, maybe some of our Texan members are millitary wives or husbands or sons or daughters
So, given that, is everyone here OK? Do you guys know anyone stationed at Fort Hood killed or injured.
If so, you have my deepest condolences, ALL of you. :cry:

There are quite a few members on this board that are from Texas. Fortunately, it doesn't seem like anyone here has been directly affected by the crash, but we're all praying for those that do.

Lots of Texans- but I don't know* of any who are military. I have 2 cousins in the military- one stationed in SC and the other in the reserves. One of my good guy friends is in the military and in Iraq- but I don't recall which base he was stationed to before he left- BUT he's in engineering so I'm not as worried about him being shot down.

*my knowledge is limited at best
