Flight Miles Donations Accepted for U.S. Troops

#1 Postby blizzard » Sat Nov 08, 2003 3:32 pm

IF any of you have flight miles you may never use, or want to donate to Troops serving in the Gulf. Please see this web site, or go to the web site of your airline carrier and see if they are participating in this wonderful program.

I know how expensive it can be to get a flight home to visit loved ones.
Please help out if you can. Currently Northwest is not set up for this (hopefully soon) But as soon as they do. I have 47,500 miles to donate. This should help to get two soldiers home for a couple of weeks.

Great idea, Blizzard. That is very nice of you.

You don't have any need to save some of your flight miles?

Sure I could use them sometime, but when I served in the military, I knew how tight money was and besides, they need them more than I do.

And usually when I look for flights, I have to get four tickets and the likelihood of getting my ticket with the miles and three others paid for on the same flight are pretty slim.
