The microwave pass showed an organized llc under the convection. I think she is at 50 knots

It would be awesome to include the microwave pass in your post.

Also up to 40 knots, MSLP of 1005mb. Grace has deepened slightly.

I am by no means a professional. DO NOT look at my forecasts for official information or make decisions based on what I post.

Goal: to become a registered expert over tropical and subtropical cyclones.

Slightly off topic, but a 7.2 magnitude earthquake just struck the Haitian peninsula. Stronger than the 2010 earthquake. I'm hoping Grace stays away from Haiti - it's the last thing they need right now.

I remember how some people were doubting TD7’s survival yesterday as it pulsed back and forth, but as always, Grace has shown that minute, short term structural appearance fluctuations don’t tell the whole story!

Unless explicitly stated, all info in my posts is based on my own opinions and observations. Tropical storms and hurricanes can be extremely dangerous. Do not think you can beat Mother Nature. Refer to an accredited weather research agency or meteorologist if you need to make serious decisions regarding an approaching storm.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

Grace going to pass through Hebert Box, which is normally not great news for PR, Bahamas, and SFL. Fortunately for now it seems Grace won’t be to strong.

What’s the deal with this Herbert Box? Is it a region where storms are prone to RI, or the future track of the system is determined?

The Hebert Boxes are just regions that major hurricanes that impact Florida often enter.

Last night I had my doubts that 7 would even survive until the morning... now Grace is looking like a mid range TS, and a healthy outflow pattern is quickly establishing itself around the nascent CDO.

I was not doubting it's survival, small systems are notoriously hard to forecast . . .

Some models seem to be trending N and maybe pass just N of the Big Islands. Thinking the 11am may show little more intensity day 4/5 near Bahamas/SFL...
