#1 Postby Stormsfury » Fri Nov 07, 2003 7:27 pm

Not one, but TWO SYSTEMS ... IMHO, that WON'T happen ... but I'm currently reviewing the model guidance ... and still looking that SOMETHING could come out of this ...

925 mb Vorticity

MSLP

I'll have more later in a bit ...

SF.... the 18 Z GFS for the first time tries to develope something near the islands but loses it or it gets driven into the Caribbean.. It will be interesting to see how this plays out the next week to 10 days:):):):):)

The GFS has actually been showing the vorticity signature for a few days now, but continues to lose it near the islands ... It's actually funny, really ... back before the inception of Isabel, the GFS was showing 3 strong vorticities at 950mb rotating around a common point (the mesovorticities) while the CMC was indicating the development of a bulldog system ...

Anyway, IMHO, I still think SOMETHING is going to develop there.

Seems like if the pattern in the models verifies it will turn away from the US??

It would be interesting if it does form. If it forms my forecast for this year was off for sure. Grrrrr dont form and lets have the NAO go freaking strong negative. I want winter not the tropcs now LOL. But this year tropical wise was one heck of a ride for sure a fun one.
