looked like a failed EWRC caused the weakening on that HWRF.

It looks like short term in intensity is going to play a huge part in TD7's Future. A stronger Storm will have a better shot at resisting the TUTT

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

Looked to me like increased windshear and dry air intrusion.

And HWRF has a major cane in 5 days.
Easy forecast for the NHC. Either follow the same fate as Fred (or even washout over the Dominican Republic) or become a major hurricane near the Bahamas

Seeing more GEFS support makes me sit up a bit more vs the operational run.

18z HWRF besides being much farther N than 12z it’s misses islands and much slower which allows 07 to blow up into @Cat 3.

Somebody needs to let the HWRF know westerly shear awaits. Looks incredibly hostile for this time of year

Those are the GFS ensembles.. Although, the GEPS also show some strong tracks
What is GEPS that you speak of?? This is the first time I've heard of that model.

Re: ATL: SEVEN - Models
Start of a model(s) or more showing a recurve away from the CONUS and Caribbean/Bahamas?
Or not and more serious impacts of the aforementioned?

Re: ATL: SEVEN - Models
18Z Euro Ensembles a bit more bullish than the 12Z, but not overly so. Appear to be on the southern side of the model consensus

Oh my ... but what if the always-perfect GFS shear forecast is wrong?
