This loop shows a huge explosion of thunderstorms in the Western Caribbean. Man, it is really building up!!!

I'll say the convection developed quickly... in the western Caribbean. No matter which direction it is moving in -- westerly according to the latest National Hurricane Center's Tropical Weather Outlook -- it is spreading due northward.
