This loop shows a huge explosion of thunderstorms in the Western Caribbean. Man, it is really building up!!!

I'll say the convection developed quickly... in the western Caribbean. No matter which direction it is moving in -- westerly according to the latest National Hurricane Center's Tropical Weather Outlook -- it is spreading due northward.

In the latest IR satellite loop (link above)... the convection is moving SW.

On Wednesday, Wxman57 mentioned that this feature was expected to move in this direction.

Lots of movement with these systems. Better to be moving than stalled. It's a beautiful day here by the way :)
