Online ordering for stores?

#1 Postby LMolineux » Thu Nov 06, 2003 10:55 am

Hey i was wandering how hard it is to setup an online ordering feature for my parents store website. http://www.theheadnut.com
I am trying to make it run smoothly and grow and actually pull some profit. As to right now money is as tight as it was back in the 1980's here which was severe so i want to help my parents out by getting online ordering rolling and get it out there more. I hope no-one finds this offensive or bothering. But it helps them out while it helps me out as well. But i do know there are so many smart people on thsi message board and i know most of you's might be able to help me out for sure. Y'all are so nice and great to me and this would mean alot. Thank you so much.

Are you looking for a way to put a shopping cart like system on the site or just take payments online?

Both Beer Both. It will help put our business on the true market. But also i want to make a system of a check list also. So the people that actually come into the store physically can use their print out to make their instore visit a much more successfull smoother faster one.

Well have you ever been to a web site and liked their shopping cart system? If you look around that site it might say what they use. I will guess you are looking for something expandable and free or low cost as well. I will look at something and check back shortly.

Ok not sure which direction you want to take so I will start here. I found MonsterCommerce that offer a small business package for $80 a month including hosting and software tech support. Is that too much or not the right features?

You might also try here: http://www.securenetshop.com/
Maybe check into Paypal. I just went to Google and put in "website shopping cart software" for the search.
