The CAG/Gulf system might have the potential to become a hurricane, but I’m going to be a bit conservative and say late July like 2020.

Going to go against the others, August 1-10 is my vote. July doesn't have a hurricane every year.

IMO July will be semi-active with a couple high end tropical storms, just not quite hitting the hurricane threshold. Put down early August for the first bonafide cane.

August 21st, and I still think the season will be hyperactive.
It does seem like we'll see the first hurricane a lot earlier, but I think that every year.

While I feel like named storm numbers may be above average this year, I think hurricane numbers may be close to average. Just a hunch. Not expecting the first hurricane until August.

I am thinking sometime around August 20th. The hurricane will develop from an AEW.

The wave behind 95L according to quite a few models looks interesting, I'd say early July if I were to look at this specifically. What name it will get should it form? My bet is either Elsa or Fred.

Unless explicitly stated, all info in my posts is based on my own opinions and observations. Tropical storms and hurricanes can be extremely dangerous. Do not think you can beat Mother Nature. Refer to an accredited weather research agency or meteorologist if you need to make serious decisions regarding an approaching storm.

I think 97L (future Elsa) has a good shot of making it to hurricane status looking at the recent models so I'm gonna go with July 1 - 10.
