There was one in SE Texas last night, but the parameters for one such event is too far out right now, appears to start around this coming weekend . . .

I completely agree. And just about all the tornadoes that have formed have been on the weak side.

I found this sounding on the 18z GFS at +126 hours near Tecumseh, OK

Not in the fantasy range anymore, it's near the target dates for the next potential outbreak zone for the Southern Plains . . . (May 16th-21st)

Yes, Maniac Mike from KFOR News 4

He was not kidding about the May 20th, 2013 tornado, it had a very similar track to the 5/3/1999 monster . . .

I'm not a pro by any means but I think he said this a bit prematurely... Early next week doesn't really look very impressive with a weakening cutoff low moving through. That could lead to heavy rain though which would explain the AA precip prediction from CPC.

That being said however it's still over a week out and he very well could end up being right if things change. But I'm just not seeing anything that really makes early next week look like a significant tornado event right now. SPC mentions the possibility of increased severe risk after that though

Also I have a lot of respect for this guy (as well as all pro mets) so he very well may be right.

Isn’t he also the one who told people to get in their cars and drive away from the tornado during Moore and El Reno?

Also, 5/18-5/21 has my interest on the 12z gfs

Me might be but I'm not entirely sure on that one. Ice might know though. I haven't watched much of his coverage since I'm not in their area.

Yes, I've heard about that story on 5/31/2013, I get KOCO 5, KWTV News 9 (You get KOTV News 6 sister station in Tulsa), KFOR News 4 & KOKH Fox 25 news . . .

(On Bolded words): That had my interest for a few days! I've chosen those days as the target dates for another severe weather outbreak sequence potential not long after Yesterday's storm left . . .

EDIT: Do you mean 6z GFS? The 12z GFS barely started!

SCP of a 0, & there is a tornado threat near Tecumseh, OK at +132 hours . . .
