It's going to be passing over a highly populated area for a while. Worst-case scenario right here.

I cant post the picture of the storm. Anyhow that is what a high risk should be. Powerful long tracked storms.

And what is strange is Mississippi because they only got one tornado with a HIGH risk and Georgia got a monster in the slight risk.

You missed Tornado Emergency. A tornado that rivaled the strength of the Birmingham tornado. It literally maxed out the radar and had a NAT of 3.1! It may have even been as strong as the Greensboro twister.

As someone who always tracks weather, days like yesterday are tough. Just sitting there watching violent tornadoes plow through towns... And even worse knowing that some of them caused fatalities. Getting 1 tornado emergency in any event is insane... Getting like 6 or 7 in one event is unreal...

There were 8... it was horrific. There are reports of people trapped under debris but I cannot confirm.

I know there were 5 deaths from the first long tracker in AL. I've seen reports that 1 person died in Newnan. Haven't seen any reports of deaths from the second AL long tracker

The supercell that passed over me did drop a tornado at the south carolina - GA border btw. So that was neat to see such a powerful mesocyclone. It was ridiculously dark at 200 pm EDT

The second AL long tracker was like Bassfield but not quite as wide. 230 mph GTG shear. The Newnan storm was also pretty strong, massive debris ball after it hit
