Wow, the Texas Tech WRF is now a paid subscription? What the heck. I don't use it often, but I usually do for storms. They don't even list prices on their site, which means....it's expensive.

I hope April will be wetter than this month because so far, rainfall has been quite scarce. Most models show an inch of rain or less for the next 10 days for my area. However, I am not too concerned yet about the pattern because it is not unusual for March to be very dry in SE TX.

Yeah, models aren’t showing much especially south of I-10. Looks like most of the rain will be north or east of Southeast Texas over the next week or two.

Current messy area will limit severe threat tonight for DFW. I'd be surprised if we got much of anything.

It’s been raining here all day and super windy. I’ve only picked up 0.27”however it looks like a line of some possibly severe stuff could come through a little later.

I am shocked I got almost .50 so far. But, I think that's the kiss of death for severe tonight.

Latest HRRR shows a pretty stout line of storms moving through DFW later, I would expect a watch to be hoisted at some point tonight.
