Flashback to last night when the HRRR had 38? 39?

That was a little excessive but a blend of the NAM and HRRR was a good middle ground. Colder where heavier precip falls, then warms up where it gets lighter.

Depends on the ULL track this evening and how much moisture is still around.

Still have several hours of snowfall to go so who knows? Maybe we see some minor totals before this evening. I am just a few miles from the north entrance of the airport.

It’s been nicely snowing for like an hour now and no accumulation to show for it...

In a dry hole now. Hopefully will fill in, but saw some mood snow at least. I pulled a rookie move and was using Abilene radar earlier. Kept wondering why what was happening didn’t match radar. Lol

Dry air still winning in Longview. Seeing a few flurries again, but nothing like the big flakes that have coated the ground in Tyler.

Couldn’t overcome the heat island of Downtown Dallas. Few flakes earlier, mostly cold rain.

Summer's for hibernation, Winter’s my vacation

Don't use my posts as forecast, I'm a complete meteorology noob! I just like cold weather, alright?

All observations I post are for Temple, Texas unless otherwise stated.

Well, south of Tyler in Flint TX we were suppose to have afternoon temperatures earlier around 41 degrees. It is almost 2 p.m. and we are at 34.

It has really tapper off, and has warmed as it has gone from the lg and medium size flakes to almost a lite rain/snow mix. Hopefully it picks back up soon and the temps fall back to that 33-34 range
