Anyone know how to get rid of prickers or sandspurs?

My yard has become overtaken by these nasty little prickers or sandspurs or whatever they're called. Any way to remove them other than by pulling them? It hurts to do it that way, LOL. Thanks. :)

Wow...good question...can you mow them?? If not then try to use round up on them...

I'll try the roundup. When I mow them, they just scatter everywhere. Thanks. :)

No problem...round-up will kill them most of the time, but don't apply on days when it is supposed to rain, otherwise it'll just wash off...

You will need gloves to pull the sandspurs up and put them in a plastic bag and put them in garbage. Do not put them in the compost pile. Cut the flower heads before the spurs appear and spray the foliage with round-up.
