Looks like a WPAC timeline with sheer number of storms...

So, after 2 almost-Cat-5 storms, we finally get a real one on November 16. And, of course, it's about to landfall on a vulnerable location still suffering damage and flooding from the last almost-Cat-5.

I hate 2020.

Just read the discussion. Decided to switch from coffee to tequila (note to self: does not pair nearly as well with Little Debbies)

If Gamma and Zeta get post-season upgrades, then Theta was the only system since October to not reach hurricane status, and it and Gamma would be the only non-majors during that time.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

2020 finally gets it's tragic capstone...the Late season took this 2020 to legendary, or I guess really infamous, status. Thoughts to everyone in CA who has to deal with this.

This is terrible. Just terrible. I knew this could happen all along, but to actually see a category-5 hurricane targeting the exact same region that was devastated by Hurricane Eta just 13 days ago hurts. I will be very very happy when this year ends.

Welp, a lot of the pre/early-season forecasts from professionals and amateurs alike hinted at the strong likelihood of a backloaded, western basin-biased season, but I don't think any of us anticipated just how backloaded and west-biased it would be.
