That pesky LLC that was orginally displaced from the CDO is likely gone

Awesome, let's track our compact organized mid November Gulf storm Eta that just stopped moving south toward Cuba, as it threatens to hit Florida - again - as the 28th storm of the season and 12th landfalling US storm while the 29th storm of the season simultaneously exists in the east Atlantic and a possible 30th takes shape

If I told this to everyone in June I'd have been banned for trolling

Not a meteorologist, in fact more of an idiot than anything. You should probably check with the NHC or a local NWS office for official information.

Serious Charley vibes from that radar track (not intensity), originally Charley was forecast for Tampa.

But Charley was 140-145 mph. May be close call here. 2020 - the planet spins in reverse

Eta is in a somewhat similar position as Charley was after it came off the Cuban coast, but this ain't no Charley (knocks on wood) and it's not August. I'll never forget putting up the last shutters that morning with a cat2 poised for Tampa when my little girl came outside saying "daddy it's a cat4 and it's heading right for us!"

I knew that 2020 will be very active, but not like this!

5 storms active at once: 9-14-2020
1 to 4 in 6 hours a few days after that. O_O
When we reached the Greeks in Sept. I was shocked
Now, we have 30 systems ever formed just this year, & I'm being FLOORED :shocked!:

Saved radar loop. This would be the MLC not the LLC.

Is making a loop so it is most likely dying and starting to rotate around a stronger developing circulation closer to the MLC.
IMO.

There it is, beginning to redevelop further NE closer to the MLC.
South winds to the NE of the dying LLC.

This really shows how off the forecast track is, or at least the MLC is (purple line is forecast track)

Looks like an eyewall coming together too so could be a hurricane sometime tonight or early morning

It wouldn't happen until the LLC and MLC come together stacking with each which is what the GFS and HWRF show happening tomorrow morning.

Looks like it is attempting a reformation event. You can see the low-level wind field unraveling about the old LLC.

FL didn't earlier have enough activity due to good luck. So, by hook or crook, Eta is going to make sure they get a season's worth of activity from just one storm.
