I voted for 6 named storms. October will be another busy month, and I anticipate included in that number of 2 major tropical cyclones forming.

I voted 7. Same as 2005. One Category 5, one Category 3, and maybe another major in the MDR.

October storms will probably cluster around the Gulf, near the Bahamas, and W. Caribbean. I certainly don't see how October will be quiet especially adding a La Nina influence.

There’s a slim chance Eta could form late on Halloween, but it’s more likely to be a November storm.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.
