No, nothing to do with "nick." This is in the Caribbean.

I don't see as bad of shear as Nick had in the Atlantic, and even there he was able to restrengthen and fight through it.

Actually, Floyd, I don't see that much, either, but some on the board seemed concerned about shear.

Well, the convection continues to persist. That is one main, but often forgotton factors to get a tropical system going.

HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)
ECMWF (1:45 AM/PM)
TCVN is a weighted averaged
