That could mean the trough is filling and will be replaced by ridging as per some model runs that pull it back toward the Texas coast. If it is fast enough to avoid the rebuilding ridge it could have followed out as the tail end of a trough.
Ku-band scatterometer, the World Trade Center stress analysis, and JP7 those were interesting times.
The ridge in all likelihood will catch it imo, and keep TD 22/Beta meandering and pinned down over the Western Gulf for several more days.
