Pressure dropping but winds weakening...temporary lag? Safe to say the micro-core of yesterday is gone; and this will likely be one of those storms with a fairly broad windfield that's not exceptionally strong at its center. Unlikely to rapidly intensify, but also resilient to anything more than slow weakening in the face of shear.

Actually winds are higher now, based on recon. This morning and earlier this afternoon it was hard to find Cat 1 winds but on the last couple of passes before they left they found them better.

Mobile Bay into Baldwin County . . She may not be big, and may not be powerful, but I'm afraid from what I am already seeing on videos and pics she is going to have caused a lot of problems from SW AL all the way to parts of the Panhandle. Not to mention once she moves inland with the rain.

Our weather here has gotten considerably worse in the last hour alone.

I have sand bags in my backyard at the french doors and I have a foot of water standing now . I put 2 sand bags high so far I am good. On that note there is flooding all over Pensacola.
Not sure how to post pic on here.

I'm so tired of watching this storm sit and spin in more or less the same area for days on end, make up your mind Sally :x

The center is still ~55 miles south of Fort Morgan. Probably still 10-15 hours before landfall, but I can’t see this taking longer than tomorrow mid-morning. It is starting to move slightly.

I'm on Fort Morgan Rd. and things are getting pretty sporty around here right now. Rain is like having a water hose spraying on you at full blast. It has been non stop for over an hour now.

She's on the move now 29.47 now lost .03 in 6 mins amazing!

Note the super heavy band in radar right on the western tip of the eastern shore.

So that's the source makes sense I am watching the radar and thinking TX landfalls which way does land friction kick it looks W/L to me?

The worst is still to come. She's not gonna be speeding up anytime soon. It'll be a painful crawl towards the coast.

Flooding is minimal, I have been driving around all day. We get heavier downpours from summer storms. Downtown has pretty much no flooding.

Well it's going to be raining there for the better part of 3 days so hopefully folks are prepared.

Orange Beach inland is flooding bad, Fowl River on West side of Mobile Bay is flooding badly now also. My wife just spoke to her boss who lives on Fowl River, and he said the water on the river is angry, and rising quickly.

Here at our house the wind has picked up drastically, and we are having gusts now that have to be 40-50 easily.

This is just the beginning . . Sadly for many.

I’m on Innerarity Island in Perdido Bay... my dock is barely hanging on. Lots of flooding in the neighborhood already. Steady wind and rains all day.

Northern Perdido Bay here and my pier is amazingly still above water. Still seeing cars driving down old Lillian Highway so I assume there is no street flooding yet

Yeah sooo many people just acting like nothing is going on..

We are at the windemere condominiums using their elevated garage.

About 2 minutes in.. first hurricane gusts .. several of them. Looking at radar may have been several meso vorts.
