FORT WORTH, Texas - Two small boys, groggy from a night's sleep, made a grim discovery Thursday morning when they got out of bed and found their 36-year-old mother dead on the living room couch.

The boys, ages 10 and 11, called their grandmother for help after they were unable to wake their mother, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office as Liana Haskins. The grandmother drove to the south side home in the 200 block of Chasmier Way and called 911 about 7 a.m., said Lt. Jesse Hernandez, a police spokesman.
