Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe we may have the same fetish Jet, and in my case, it began when I was thirteen years old. I also shy away from the really kinky stuff (have no women's shoes in my closet, and have never put my lips or tongue on a girl's foot). I just admire a woman with beautiful feet and a nice pedicure; they catch my eye. My wife actually loves my fetish (what lovely wife doesn't enjoy a gentle foot massage after wearing heels all day; and weekly pedicures from her loving husband?? :D

Having a sexual fetish isn't that unusual. According to internet surveys I've seen, more than 80% of American adults admit to having at least one.

Does wet hair count as a fetish (minds out of the gutter, think northward!)? You know, like when she's fresh out of the shower or coming in from the rain or just a little bit sweaty and her hair is curly and drippy. You know, like Gloria Estefan in "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You" or Britney Spears in "I'm A Slave 4 U."

Well, I suppose that would be mine. :)

LOL! Perry, I've read it three times and I still can't figure out what your fetish is. Feet? Leather? Corsets? Pain? Masks? Water?

Well, I checked out the Yahoo listing http://dir.yahoo.com/Society_and_Cultur ... sies/Hair/ and it appears wet hair isn't a fetish.

I think there are more people out there with fetishes than there are those willing to admit they have them. Why? Peer pressures, religious beliefs, geography, etc.

While we are sharing secrets, I'll share one, too. I have lived an alternate lifestyle for years. When people find out, they are shocked and label you a misfit, a degenerate, a pervert. It has always irked me that one is accepted until this comes out - then one is ostracized because you aren't part of the "norm".

Wow, there are three of us on the board? Whoda thunk it? :)

As for being mislabeled, I only have that happen on message boards and with people who don't know me. Most of the time, I hear, "Sooo? Are you seeing someone now? I have a friend...." or "Cool! I've never known someone who was gay before" or "How come I never see you at (such and such gay bar)?"

Geez, I feel bad that you're ostracized and made to feel that way. But I applaud you bringing it out in the open here and I pray that no one hurts you here. :)

Oh yeah, while I was putting my Halloween costume together, I figured out what my fetish must be -- uniforms. A long, ponytail and a woman in uniform. :) OK, TMI now.

lifestyle difference = BDSM
And from being part of this discussion board for months, I already know that this is a pretty tolerant group 8-)

Ah, gotcha! Never tried it, never been in a situation where it would happen. I suppose I could fall into some kind of D/s situation with me being s if the relationship was right and there was trust. But for me, it would only be about the attire (back to my uniform fetish). I'm not sure that I could personally do the heavier part of BDSM, but I have no problem with anyone else who does. :)

Pardon my ignorance, but what is BDSM?

Bondage/discipline/sado-masochism. Whips, chains, cuffs, pain, torture -- all within safe limits where both partners trust each other and agree upon a safe word if limits are reached. Instead of saying, "No" which is part of the roleplay, a partner could say, "Mustard" which is completely outside the realm of the play. This would alert the other partner that the first one doesn't wish to go further or wishes a certain part of the play to not go further.

D/s is dominance/submission, where one serves another.

What is a fetish after all other than a *strong* preference and enjoyment of one particular thing.

Don't have one- but I don't think it's wierd to have one. Sometimes I wish I had something I enjoyed that much

I do have a very very strong adversion to the color orange that has absolutly no good reason for it. :D Most orange just makes me shudder... always has. Halloween has always been a bit wierd because of all the pumpkins... and orange things. It's not fear... it's just dislike. I don't even like touching orange things. The color creeps me out.

People are strange... when you're a stranger....

OG - just curious, does that include orange juice too?

Perry - I respect you for talking about this subject, and I would not consider your situation unusual in the least. I too have a fetish, and like you I just sort of discovered it one day. Can't really explain it. My wife thinks I am a bit odd, but she doesn't think any less of me.

Orange juice is just... *shudder* UGH... it's SO creepy. I'm cool with the yellow stuff that tastes similar to oranges or mixed with oranges... but man... that stuff is creepy when it's orange.

and no *grins* one of my best friends did though.

I'm not a harsh discipline person, but I do have a fettish! A horrible Fettish!!!!

Ok ladies...... 2 chocolate cookies with vanilla frosting in the middle...... Yup, I'm talking about OREOS! OMG....its bad! My boss brought Oreos in on Tuesday AND yesterday.... I warned her to keep them away, but it didn't work! I'm know for oreos and I love them (of course when they are dunked in milk!) I was doing good for while, but when my boss brought them in, the cravings really returned!

somehow pojo...I don't think Perry was talking about food. :)

But nice way to break this up. I like whipped cream myself, and that's as far as I'll go with it! :)
