JB thoughts..
Gales or storm force winds for S. Fl and keys Sunday night depending on if subtropical or Tropical. Then potential for hurricane at landfall along the central Gulf coast around Wednesday. I had forgotten Kate in 1985 which formed on November 16th had 120 mph winds and a 954 presure at its peak in the SE Gulf "WOW". The pattern is very very similar per JB. Definentely something to watch this weekend for people in florida and the Gulf coast.

Cold Front over central CONUS is not expected to get pass the TN. Vly as the ridge keeps it hung up from out west to the NE well into late next week. The flow around the blocking ridge is what's expected to bring this low around it's southern periphery and into the central Gulf Coast area.
Tx. to the FL. Panhandle will have to keep an eye on this one with the western part of that area more at threat right now.

When did this happen? I know for sure I've been working too much when I lose track of a storm heading toward Fl. What part of Fl is in its path? Any info will be appreciated.......

Ummmm, I think Derecho was just showing JB's verification of Larry. JB has gotten awful quiet concerning this low approaching the Bahamas. Wonder what's going through his mind today. I guess its better to be silent and be thought a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt
BTW, the low is heading westward, but no impressive convection at this time. Watching it though. These things can sometimes surprise you though....and usually its after they pass by Florida
Windy here on the Space Coast though. Power's been going on and off.....gusting over 30 mph.
