Playing it safe with July 11-20th. I anticipate a July MDR storm, but it won’t be until SAL finally calms down.

Since the only other two times we had four named storms before June ended up with no TCs in July, I'm going off on a limb and voting August and beyond. :lol:

Went with July 1-10, although it might be towards the end of that period like 7/9. MDR or Caribbean system, despite the SAL. Just my guess based on how this year might behave like 1996, 2008, & 2017.

I voted July 11-20, and I'll specifically say July 12th, in the Caribbean Sea. I'm surprised so many voted July 1-10th considering how SAL is behaving right now. I'm still bullish on a more active than typical July, but I think all the storms will be in the latter 2/3 of the month.

On a side note: I'm really enjoying these polls. I know it's harder to do them once we get into the more active part of the season, but right now they're a lot of fun, especially when people guess specific dates/locations.

July 1-10

I am thinking we will see Edouard find a sweet spot to develop either in the NW Caribbean or in the BOC /Western GOM. I think that the SAL should be dspersed enough in that region of the basin by early July. We shall see.

Edouard will not only form during the 1st ten days of July, but so will Fay as well! Edouard will form in the far W. Caribbean on July 4th (between 4:00-6:00p.m.), while Fay will form in the Eastern or S.E. Caribbean on July 7th. The result will be two simultaneous named storms briefly occurring at the same time on that date.

Those who voted July 1st-10th might be right if TD #5 becomes Edouard.
