Texas Tech model says Dallas County east, with NAM backing off on western end and largely agreeing. Good thing I got my heavy rain last night.

I am not really sure why this is, but I have to note the models’ consistency on it occurring. The line seems to be zippering to the west as it approaches the red river, shrinks as it approaches the area, then reforms shortly after.

Re: Texas Spring 2020
Given how explosive the atmosphere is over DFW, I wouldn't worry too much about the individual model outputs. The MCS is already taking shape across northern OK and is going to steamroll southward through DFW.

Gotta love our DFW friends, complaining about storms possibly missing them with a record wet start to the year. Meanwhile those of us in south TX can't buy a drop of rain...
Come on guys, plase share some liquid gold with us!

Line is from Michigan to Oklahoma and moving fast. I am thinking a quick hitter with some impressive thunder and lightning with heavy rain for about half an hour. For DFW.

It’s not looking good for widespread rain anytime soon. Not even May is looking promising anymore.

Re: Texas Spring 2020
We'll likely have some flooding issues here in southern Louisiana. The MCS that's hitting here has been training a bit and we've been getting moderate to heavy rain for the last hour-hour and a half now. It will be interesting to see what this does to the 2nd line to the north. If it comes barreling through here with 60 mph winds and heavy downpours before it weakens we could have some issues with downed trees.

It's looking better by the second week of May. We gotta stay patient.

Huge CAPE is big time DCAPE
Potential for very strong updrafts and destructive downdrafts.

Ahh ok. Lots of numbers and not sure what all they meant. Thanks for posting back.
Just put both cars up in the garage, got all the toys outside tied up, trash bins in the garage and flashlights ready. Phone is charging. Anything else? Something I'm forgetting?

Fox 4 WAPP looks like the lines on the Red River maybe weakens around Denton then explodes over Dallas and blows south and east as a pretty wicked line?
