Don't look now, but Cape Verde spinup?

Cape Verde Region DOES have something of interest ... The GFS/GFDL are wanting to spin up something down there and draw it north-northwestward ... not likely to happen, but just keeps things that much more interesting this season.

It is highly unlikely anything tropical will spin up down there this time of year. What will probably happen is a strong cold core type system will develop and possible affect the UK.

well we have had rather a lack of intense atlantic systems in te UK this fall so far. Any ideas on this development (possible development) at all??
