It’s looking like we could be getting a pretty strong front coming in around 9 to 10 days from now. The GEFS is onboard with it and so is the operational Euro. Now just waiting for the EPS and operational GFS to jump on.

Dusting on just about everything elevated. It isn't a large band but when in it, some of the clumpiest flakes.

Quite chilly.

Huge heavy flakes in what appears to be the last heavy band passing through. This is awesome.

Well it abruptly stopped. Hard to believe yesterday was 70. Hard to believe tomorrow will be 62.

Where I'm at in Ponder, just at 3 inches. Roads and grass are covered. Been out in it since early this morning. First snow for both my 4 and 2 yr old. So much fun the see the excitement on thier faces.

That's the deal with strong upper level low features. It dragged a chunk of what cold air there was sitting to the north but only while it is passing over. As soon as it leaves the warm air returns. However an arctic front will be coming later in the week.

QPF wise the station at DFW recorded 0.2" liquid equivalent. We can probably guess trace or 0.1"
