3, two of which become hurricanes. One hurricane in the WCAR/GOM, another one in the subtropics. The hurricane that forms in the Caribbean/GOM threatens the US.

I am going with 5 total named storms in October, with 2 of them being major hurricanes. Two storms could impact the CONUS.

Think i'll go with 3-4 named storms, with one of them reaching major status. Of these, 1-2 U.S. T.S. or minimal hurricane landfalls - both of thrm being "sloppy hot messes".

3 named storms, 2 hurricanes, 1 major. Just like the previous two years.

I'm thinking 2019 is likely to end with Olga, but maybe November or even December delivers surprise Pablo.

3 systems total. 2 storms like Karen and 1 that will probably reach cat 1 or maybe weak 2 strength. Of those one of the weak, sloppy storms will get pulled northeast from Caribbean and affect somewhere along ne gulf or west coast of Florida.

2-4 is my guess. With at least one hurricane, maybe a major and definitely some W. Caribbean CAG mischief at some point in the month.

I'm thinking there are going to be 4 storms, 2 of which will be hurricanes and 1 of which will be a major. If we don't get another storm in September, I think there'll be 5 in October, 3 will be hurricanes, and possibly 2 will be majors.
Complete speculation- I don't expect much from Melissa, Olga, or Sebastien, but Nestor and Pablo give me bad vibes. This is really bullish but I think we're going to have an extremely powerful, Wilma-level Category 5 in the western Caribbean early-mid October- it's just a weird hunch I have but can't shake.

Do not take anything I say seriously as a form of meteorological prediction. I am not a meteorologist; I don't think being in law school translates to any special knowledge. I am just a somewhat bullish amateur watcher.

Late entry, but:

3 storms - all becoming hurricanes, 1 major. That major hurricane I think will be a category 5 in the western Caribbean, eastern Gulf and western Atlantic, while one of the other hurricanes will be also in the western Caribbean/Central America and the other in the subtropical central Atlantic.

Now that's bold, but not surprising from you. You should get at least a short break for the next 5-10 days.

I’d guess 3. A Caribbean storm, a subtropical TS, and a depression off the east coast of Florida that starts arguments on if it should have been classified or not
