STICK AROUND ALL YEAR LONG!!!!

#1 Postby Rainband » Thu Oct 23, 2003 4:56 pm

I have been seeing alot of posts saying SEE you next year. There is no reason to leave just because the Atlantic Cane season is nearing an end. Here at S2K there is so much to do all year long. We will continue to follow the hurricanes all across the globe and the winter weather in the CONUS and the weather globally for that matter. Not to mention the other forums..S2K is the one stop internet site for all your weather..news and sports..not to mention the chat room and...the surprises.. OH YES... There are some surprises coming soon....and I think you'll be impressed...so Stick around and enjoy Storm2K all year long. I do :)

Just because the Tropical Atlantic Season winds down doesn't mean the weather ends. Of course, as Rainband stated, the other forums are open as well for your posting and enjoyment. And as always, the tropics doesn't stop just because the ATL shuts down.

Plus I will be trying to gather more historical data from past tropical cyclones and reanalysis projects as come available ... so there will be plenty to talk about.

Yes that is what we want the members to do stick here all year around even if the hurricane season is over because we have plenty to post about at the winter board and the other forums that S2k has :) .

Hey we have a lot of stuff to talk about! The upcoming tropical season for the WPAC, South Pacific, North and South Indian Oceans! And while that is going on we can discuss what may happen in 2004! Will there be a El Nino/La Nina or neutral conditions?!

'NUFF SAID!!!

We may be the best tropical site on the net, but just because the Atlantic season is winding down doesn't mean we are stopping. We will continue talking about the tropical seasons in other parts of the world and THEN THERE IS WINTER AND OUR WINTER FORUM.

Besides that we have many other forums to choose from and THEY ARE ALL INTERESTING!!! AS RAINBAND SAID MAKE THIS YOUR ONE STOP ON THE INTERNET FOR ALL YOUR NEEDS!!

Exactly...Our season starts when the Northern Atlantic and North Pacific shuts down.

I will be posting during the Northern Winter and Spring about the southern Tropical Cyclone Season

Watching the weather out of Atl hurricane season can give clues about the coming future season. I will hang around and watch.

The posts or stuff said are NOT an official forecast and my opinion alone. Please look to the NHC and NWS for official forecasts and products.

Model Runs Cheat Sheet:
GFS (5:30 AM/PM, 11:30 AM/PM)
HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)
ECMWF (1:45 AM/PM)
TCVN is a weighted averaged

Opinions my own.

I'll probably visit the winter weather boards. Especially when we start having frosts and freezes lol
