Water is now over the road going in and out of Pinewood. About an hour ago, someone out here estimated about 6 inches deep and it's still pouring! Ughhh. Has been training over me ALL DAY on top of what we got yesterday. Stop already.

It was radar indicated, but I wouldn't be surprised to see verification on that one. Looks like a stationary HP supercell set up near Winnie for a bit. Here's the text from that warning.

This area is no stranger to them either. This is proving to be quite the impactful one.

Starting to have flashbacks to Harvey out here in Orange County. Has Imelda stalled at this point? My internet isn't working very well and pulling up any graphic information is a no go at the moment.

Text from the WPC Mesoscale Precipitation Discussion indicates the center is slowly drifting NW away from Lufkin.

It's really bad around here. High water rescues are being reported in many areas. And the rain just keeps pouring...

5000 CAPE right off shore and it looks like it is building a new feeder band.
It is sucking in a massive amount of moist, unstable air from the GOM.
CAPE is typically the lowest this time of day.
Amazing.
Prayers for everyone under this.
