Best to watch the minute by minute blows on this link.
This has the most up to the minute frames.

I have to admit that the weak LLC has not gotten any better organized than earlier this morning, circulation still remains weak and there could be a chance that any west winds may be above the surface and not really on the ground.
Also, surface pressures have not further dropped to indicate that the LLC would had started deepening further.

I think the proximity to Florida is making people over analyze this system. It is getting organized, but I still don't think it'll develop before it runs into shear and gets ripped out by the front. Folks just to the west of it in Florida probably won't even know much is there unless they are right on the beach.

That's surprising to me. But guess we have our next system officially!

Better late than never, lol.
They must think that the weak LLC will further intensify tonight, and I can see that happening, before the environment becomes worst with the UL trough coming down.

Not sure I agree with the NHC on this one, looks to be weakening with rapidly warming cloud tops and still a somewhat broad and elongated LLC, but maybe it'll get going tonight during DMAX with the convection.

Like I said, they’ve classified worst looking storms than this.

Have to agree with you wxman57 - there's heavier diurnal convection over the Florida peninsula now then the "depression".

T.D. .... really? Sure there's a weak tight circulation- I guess the fact that there's barely any clouds directly associated with the tiny vort center is secondary lol.
