Re: Texas Summer 2019
Seems to be missing the airport largely.
Will get close to 1.50 once done here.
Just turned on sprinklers for tonight...will turn off.

Only a dash of rain for the big Airport. It did bring the temperature down to mid 70s!

The Texas coast should definitely keep an eye on the Gulf as well. The 12z Euro introduced what could be stronger ridging and a possible storm moving more westward.

Will see what the tropics does -- but got concerned about the weeklies.
1"of rain thru Aug 20th and a 2" deficit in already the 2 driest months of the year.
One run so it very well could be wrong but that was pretty depressing.

yeah what I also noticed on the EPS is the Texas tracks(though the majority are east) are the strongest too
the 0z Euro is real close to New Orleans

With a really wet spring and early summer, we can’t even buy a drop of rain around here now. Everything is turning brown and crispy pretty quickly.

Saturday's heavy rain was nice, just mowed the lawn and put down the bug killer and bam, got dark, windy, and started pouring.
Can not complain about this summer so far, and July is still looking to be wetter than average, and slightly below average temps.
Come on Football season!!

I doubt it shifts much further west, but we’ll see. I don’t expect anything from this in Texas other than we’ll be stuck in some really hot and dry conditions.

The radar looked like storms were in your area earlier this evening. Can you confirm? Just curious.

Maybe I should complain more often. We’ve had a few rounds come through with on and off again rain. I’ve picked up around 1” so far out of it all.

Re: Texas Summer 2019
Well it's a good thing I helped FWD with their tropical storm warning system last year. They may actually need it.
